NEW YORK— SILICONE ZONE, a supplier of silicone bakeware in an increasingly diverse array of colors and shapes, will introduce a new warmer/steamer at the upcoming January International Housewares Show.
The company, which began with a few basic shapes and has developed seasonal and kids lines to complement its full range of basic bakeware shapes, will introduce the new piece in a range of colors.
The 8.5-inch, domed warmer is designed to hold and keep warm a stack of tortillas, pancakes or other range of other foods. It has six steamer holes so that it can also double as a steamer for vegetables in the microwave.
It can be used to warm tortillas in the microwave or oven.
The warmer/steamer will come in Caribbean lime, mango or canary— all colors intended to make it suitable for oven-to-table use.
Suggested retail is $25. The product is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.
